The West Coast Chef School is a small intimate culinary school -
Located at Mykonos Resort Marina in Langebaan.

West Coast Chef School is a small intimate culinary school that is an Internationally approved and accredited centre.

Based on Club Mykonos Resort in Langebaan, West Coast chef school is run by Husband and wife, Heinrich and Fransa Mouton. They strive to train chefs to the highest standard and encourage them to be passionate about the industry and to never stop creating.

Our school offers a variety of accredited courses as well as non accredited short courses.

West Coast Chef School is the school for you if you want to be part of an tight knit culinary family with lots of personal attention to guide you towards your culinary dreams.

SMALL GROUP SIZES

Our average class size is 6-8 students. Our experienced chef tutors know that not everyone learns at the same pace, or in the same way, and so whilst you will work together as a group and in pairs, you will also receive plenty of individual attention from your chef tutors.

PROFESSIONAL CHEF TUTORS

When you choose a cookery school you need to be sure that the training you are going to receive is to the highest standard. At the West Coast Chef School, all of our chef tutors are professional chefs with extensive experience in catering, working as head chefs in highly rated restaurants.

At the West Coast Chef School we believe the best way to learn to cook is by actually cooking not watching. Our courses are geared to maximising the amount of practical you will perform during each course.

Fransa Mouton

With decades of experience as a chef lecturer and SACA Judge, Fransa Mouton decided to take over the reins from Gerhard, to share her passion for great food with the West Coast.

Heinrich Mouton

Chef Heinrich Mouton has more than 2 decades of hospitality industry experience. He assists in training young chefs to the highest standard of either basic cooking or skills needed to work in the finest restaurants in the world.
